da Bramante Pizzeria - dehor
CATEGORY: Store design
LOCATION: Castione della Presolana (BG)
YEAR: 2024
The historic "da Bramante" pizzeria in Castione della Presolana commissioned us to design a completely new outdoor space that would allow its customers to enjoy their pizzas in the open air during the summer.
The portico area was therefore the subject of a radical renovation, starting from the flooring and wall cladding. Together with the client we opted for a light gray natural stone skin with warm shades for the floor, while a natural fir blade cladding was chosen for the walls. All designed to communicate a sense of warmth and relaxation, necessary to best integrate the external space with the welcoming internal environment typical of the "da Bramante" pizzeria.
A challenge then arose in the face of the large vertical development of the portico space, in contrast with the desire to create a welcoming and "protected" place for the restaurant's customers. To reduce this effect of excessive height, a series of panels in wood and micro-perforated iron sheet were therefore designed and created specifically; these three-dimensional elements were then fixed to the ceiling through a play of geometric joints and interspersed with orange lamps with a sinuous design. .
The arches of the pre-existing architectural structure were decorated externally with square-section fir slats which also have the function of supporting the iron signs decorated with the new "da Bramante Pizzeria" logo (also designed by our studio). To illuminate the environment, a modern technology system was installed with lamps that allow to obtain a high quality standard of light, guaranteeing a relaxed atmosphere, aligned with the rest of the project, but also excellent visual quality.
The furniture was also the subject of study: the tables were made to our design with a matt black iron leg and a white layered laminate top and the soft-lined propylene chairs were chosen in two particular colors in capable of giving a touch of playfulness to the environment: cream and brick. To guarantee maximum privacy for customers, the glass door closing the portico has been decorated with a "blackboard" effect graphic characterized by nice phrases featuring the love for pizza.
